July 25, 2010:
Check out shots from the 19th Annual Athletic Booster Golf Scramble HERE! In spite of EXTREME heat and a passing downpour or two, a Good Time seemed to have been had by all! Thank You Golfers! You came out and stepped up on behalf of our Student Athletes and we appreciate your support!

July 22, 2010:
Drivers and Student Athletes: The time to arrive at EHS for the Membership Drive is 5pm. Again, the date is Thursday August 5th. Free Pizza and Pop will be provided to all those volunteering their time. Thanks for all your help! Parent sign-up sheets for the Melon Festival Ice Cream Booth will be available should anyone wish to do so.

July 18, 2010:
There will be NO Athletic Booster meeting for the month of July for the General Membership. Our next meeting will be held Monday August 2, 2010 in the EHS cafeteria.

July 13, 2010:
The 2010 Athletic Booster Membership Drive will be Thursday August 5th, beginning at 5pm. Student Athletes, please see your Coaches for further information. Free Pizza and Pop will be provided to those Volunteers assisting us this year. Thanks in Advance for All Your Help!! Drivers are always needed, if you are not busy and have no Student Athlete involved, we could use your help. (Times to arrive at EHS will be posted here soon.)

July 8. 2010:
The date for our July meeting will be announced soon. This month's meeting was postponed due to the Holiday Weekend.
Melon Festival is coming soon. Parents, sign-ups for your volunteer shifts will be done at the upcoming Fall Athlete's Parent Meetings. Anyone wishing to sign up early, or if you are not able to attend the Parent Meeting, please fill out our Contact Us form and we will be in touch to sign you up. Thanks in Advance for all your help!! This is one of our bigger fundraisers, and by bigger I mean the ones that take the most manpower to pull off, and could not be done without the Help of Our Student Athletes and You, their Parents.
Thanks Also to Cory Smith, Renae Miller and ALL the Fall Athletic Coaches for Your Help in our Melon Festival Booth Fundraiser!! You are essential in getting all the Student Athletes signed up. Your Very Hard Work is Greatly Appreciated!!

June 19, 2010:
In case you hadn't noticed, the Athletic Booster's have begun another project on the EHS Campus. We are renovating the gate at the Football Stadium. See our Projects Page for pictures. Congratulations go out to the EHS Senior Class of 2010 as you enter the "real world". Good Luck!!

Our June Meeting will be held on Tuesday June 8th, 2010 rather than Monday June 7th. Just the date has changed, it will still take place in the cafeteria at EHS and begin at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Athletic Boosters would like to Congratulate the Varsity Lady Chargers Softball team on their District Semi-Final Win over Upper Sandusky yesterday evening! Way to go Ladies!! Also, we would like to Congratulate the JV Lady Charger Softball Team on their PERFECT SEASON!! 25 WINS - NO LOSSES! Way To Go Ladies! We could not be more proud of you!  Good Luck to the Boy's Varsity Baseball Team as they travel to Heidelberg College's Baseball Field to take on the Bucyrus Redmen in their District Semi-Final game this afternoon.

May 19, 2010:
Spring Athletic Award Banquets are next week. Track and Boy's Tennis is Tuesday May 25th and Baseball and Softball is Thursday May 27th. Both begin at 6:30pm and are at EHS. As a reminder, Side Dish Assignments are: Freshman and Sophomore Families - Please bring a Hot Side Dish, potatoes, vegetables, casseroles, etc. - Enough for approximately 12 people. Junior and Senior Families - Please bring Salads - Enough for approximately 12 people. The Side Dish Assignments remain the same for every banquet, just the sport changes. Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed our 2010 Athletic Booster Steak Feed! A Special Note of Thanks goes out to Mrs. Seel and her students for baking us yummy cookies as always!! Thanks also to you, the Edison High School Athletic Boosters, for helping us to support our Student Athletes!! And all our behind the scene volunteers who pulled together to make this night a success are owed a big THANK YOU and Congratulations on another successful Steak Feed! See you in 2011!!

April 26, 2010:
The May Athletic Booster Meeting will be held on Wednesday May 5th rather than Monday May 3rd.
Time and place remain the same just the date has changed. We will be voting on new officers for the upcoming year. Anyone interested in becoming a part of the Booster Board please make plans to attend.

We are currently taking nominations for those interested in becoming involved in the Athletic Booster Board. Anyone interested should attend our Wednesday May 5th meeting. For more information please contact us.

The Annual Booster Steak Feed is Saturday May 8, 2010. Tickets are available from your Athletic Booster Board Members or at the Athletic Department at EHS. Contact us for more information.

We will be kicking off our Quarters of Cash Ticket Sales at the Steak Feed this year! Get Yours Early!

January 24, 2010:
Our meetings are held the 1st Monday of every month unless other wise noted. They begin at 7pm. Attending is a great opportunity to keep up on what we are doing around our Campus. Our end goal is all the same, it's about our Student Athletes and our Sports programs. We're going to continue to do what we do for Them. Parental involvement is always welcomed. We have lots of VOLUNTEER opportunities available. Please contact us with any questions you may have.

January 17, 2010:
You will find 2 new additions to our website. Pages called Projects and Festival of Lights. The Projects page will address projects funded by the Athletic Boosters to show how we help our Student Athletes and Coaches. The second page is called Festival of Lights. This shows an image of our display at the 2009 Festival of Lights at Sawmill Creek in Huron.

January 12, 2010:
The Athletic Boosters would like to announce 2 projects we have completed for our Student Athletes. First, we had our main Baseball and Softball fields professionally re-surfaced for the 2010 Spring Season. Second, we, along with the Athletic Department, put new mats on the walls in The Thunderdome. Thank You everyone who contributed to our fundraising efforts that allowed us to do these things for our Student Athletes!! Keep checking back here for more information as well as future projects we will be undertaking to benefit our Student Athletes.

January 4, 2010:
Until further notice we will no longer be holding  Athletic Booster Bingo on Sunday evenings. Thank You everyone for your support!! Any changes will be announced here on our website.

September 7, 2009:
Thank You EVERYONE who helped to make our Ice Cream Booth at the Melon Festival a success! We sold out in record time, which means we were very busy. The student athletes did a FANTASTIC job scooping and stepping up however we needed them to. The parent volunteers were a HUGE help! We could not have done this without you! All the money earned makes its' way back to the student athletes throughout the year.

Athletes and Parents-
We will be holding our annual Membership Drive Thursday August 13, 2009 beginning at 5:30pm. Coaches and Parents are needed to drive athletes. Students are NOT permitted to drive! Parents please make a commitment to help out with driving. Athletes this is a MANDATORY event for you!! Please arrive at the high school by 5:15pm. Pizza and pop will be provided afterwards.

We are in the process of planning for our annual Ice Cream Booth at the Melon Festival Labor Day Weekend. Parents- If you have not signed up for your shift, please Contact Us to do so. Students- Your Coaches will have sign up sheets for your scooping shifts. Thanks in advance for all the hard work of our volunteer workforce in our Ice Cream Booth!! It's a huge fundraiser and it takes all of us working together to pull it off. We couldn't do it without you!

We'd like to welcome our two newest Board Members, Jim Unger and Tim Cox. Thanks very much Erin Shine and Kevin Ackerman for your years of service!

The Edison Athletic Boosters are introducing an exciting new fundraiser beginning in the fall of 2009. During home football games, tickets will be drawn prior to each quarter with each winning ticket holder receiving $500. At the last home game the winning amounts for each quarter will increase -
$500 (1st quarter), $1000 (2nd quarter), $1500 (3rd quarter), and $2000(4th quarter).

The cost of each ticket is $100, and you do not have to be present to win.  A maximum of 400 tickets will be sold. Winning tickets will be re-entered at the end of each game, so you have more than one chance to win. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a ticket.

The annual Athletic Booster Steak Feed is Saturday May 9th, 2009 at the Berlin Township Conservation Club. Tickets are $15 per person / $25 per couple & are available from the Booster Board Members & at the Athletic Office at EHS. Doors open at 5:30. Join us for some great food, music & fun!

The 18th Annual Mike McIlrath Memorial Golf Scramble is Saturday July 25th, 2009 at Eagle Creek in Norwalk, OH. Entry fee is $75 per person and includes 18 holes with cart, driving range privileges, steak dinner & beverages. Prizes on every hole! Get your team together and register now!

March 18, 2009:
Thank You for helping to make the Yovanov Family Benefit a HUGE success!! 600+ of you came out and joined in to lend a hand. When times are tough for families in our area, you come out in full force to help. A special note of Thanks goes out to all those involved behind the scenes that pulled together and made this night happen. This event could never have happened without all of you!

BINGO TEAM #10, please remember that your schedule for the month of May has changed. You will NOT be working Sunday May 24th as it is Memorial Day Weekend. You WILL be working Sunday May 31st.

The Basketball game on Wednesday night now starts at 6:15pm instead of 8pm!
Please wear ORANGE AND BLUE to the game Wednesday night.
The Yovanov Benefit will begin at 3pm and end at 11pm on Saturday, March 14th to accommodate the Boy's Basketball game that we will be playing on Saturday.
ATTENTION BINGO TEAM #10!!  There is NO BINGO on Sunday May, 24th. This is Memorial Day Weekend. Instead, you will be working Sunday May, 31st.

Bingo will be running under a NORMAL schedule this week. The Special Event has been postponed until Sunday March 29th. Register early!! Please contact us with any questions.

February 22, 2009:
Get your Pre-Sale Sectional Basketball Tickets!! Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for students. They can be purchased in the office at Edison High School between the hours of 7:00am and 3:30pm on school days. The game is Friday March 6th at Norwalk High School, beginning at 6:15pm. We play the winner of the Woodmore/Western Reserve game. GO CHARGERS!!

February 21, 2009:
It's official! The Boy's Basketball team locked up the 2009 SBC Championship last night! Congratulations to the ENTIRE team and Coaching staff. We're proud of you!! What a season! Just two more games and then it's on to Sectionals! Okay fans, let's come out in full force again! GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!

Attention Bingo Teams #8 and #9: Please remember that we are switching our next scheduled weeks. Team #9 will be working Sunday February 22nd and Team #8 will be working Sunday March 1st.

January 15, 2009:
We are well into our Winter Sports season. Congratulations to all our Student Athletes!! We are very much in need of Volunteers in the Concession Stand to work Home Athletic Events such as Wrestling Meets and Boy's and Girl's Basketball games. Please take a minute or two and stop by the Concession to sign up.

January 14, 2009:
There will be a fundraiser for the Yovanov family Saturday March 14, 2009. The event will be held at the North Coast Marketplace in Avery. There will be a hog roast, 50/50 and a Silent Auction. Please come out and support the Yovanov's!! Check back later for more information.

January 5, 2009:
